Whole School Evaluation- Follow Through Report
The report from our recent Whole School Evaluation- Follow Through has been published. It can be viewed on the Department of Education Website here. We are very proud of the work our staff, pupils and community has put into our school’s continued progress, growth and development over the last number of years. We would like to thank everyone involved for their time and commitment.
The Report states:
“The school community is highly commended for the progress it has made in implementing the recommendations of the original WSE report and subsequent FT report.”
Highly commended is the highest compliment the inspectorate can pay, and it is a credit to all involved that their hard work and dedication has been recognised and acknowledged.
In their response to the report the Board of Management of Ennis ETNS thanked all involved in the school’s progress and looked ahead to the future
“The board would like to thank the school community for their patience and support in this time of transition and we look forward to our continued growth and progress in the coming years.”

Enrolment Now Open for September 2020
Enrolment has now opened for September 2020. We have limited spaces available for our Junior Infant Class and our Autism Class. Applications must be submitted in full by 1st March 2020 to
be considered for enrollment. Offers of places will be sent by the 30th March 2020. How places are offered is outlined in our enrolment policy here.
We are also applying to open a 2nd class for children with Autism as current interest is higher than the amount of spaces available in September 2020. This is dependent on NCSE approval and will depend largely on numbers. If you are interested in a place in one of our Autism Classes, please submit your details and expression of interest as soon as possible, as this will support the application for a 2nd class.
To apply for our Mainstream Classes, please submit a copy of the Enrolment Form and birth certificate. These can be dropped to the office, posted, or emailed to info@eetns.ie.
To apply for our Autism Class, we will additionally need a copy of the report confirming a diagnoses of Autism along with a recommendation for placement in a Special Class.
If you have any questions about enrolment, or would like to visit the school, please call at 065 6820070 or email info@eetns.ie.
